Most instagrammable locations in London

25th September 2018

Earlier this month we revealed that almost 20 percent of 16-25-year olds confessed to booking a holiday or break based entirely on how “Instagrammable” the destination is.

With this in mind we sent our Chief Adventure Officer, Jacob Allen, to discover some of the most instagrammable locations in London.

  • Train

Jacob travelled from his home town of Scarborough to London, which is a 492m round trip, using a 16-25 Railcard, saving himself £41.75 on off-peak return ticket.

Cost of return journey with Railcard: £81.05

Cost of return journey without Railcard: £122.80

  • Accommodation

When you have a Railcard you can get a YHA Membership for just £1 (that’s 90% off) and save money on your overnight stays. You can get two nights at YHA London St Pancras for just £148 with your discount, which works out at £37pppn.

  • Activities

When you travel by train you can also get 2FOR1 on lots of great attractions, including the following most instagramable places in London:

    • The Coca Cola London-Eye where you can soar up to 135 metres into the sky to see breathtaking views of Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and more for just £27 for two, which works out at £13.50 each.
    • SEALIFE London is a great place to dive into a world of adventure with glittering scales, humongous tentacles and razor-sharp teeth for just £13 each.
    • View from The Shard which is located at the top of Western Europe’s tallest building, The Shard offers 360-degree views over the city for up to 40 miles on a clear day. With 2FOR1 you and your companion can experience the panoramic views for just £15.47 each.

There are also lots of great (affordable) London rooftops to create those great insta-worthy photos. Jacob had a go at Skylight Croquet at Tobacco Dock for just £18.55 each.
